Price range at offering of 15 to 18 euros / subscription period

Leonberg, September 25 - The offering price range for the stock
of the innovative provider of Internet infrastructure software HEXMAC
Software Systems AG, Leonberg, is between 15 and 18 euros. The subscription
period will run from September 26 to 28, 2000. The first quotation
on the Neuer Markt is planned for October 2, 2000. The bank consortium
of Hypo-Vereinsbank AG (leader) and Delbr�ck & Co., Privatbankiers,
will place up to 1,281,500 shares (including Greenshoe of up to
max. 120,000 shares) with the security code number 522 761 and the
board code HEX.
The bookbuilding range was made public at the press and DVFA analysts'
conference held by HEXMAC Software Systems AG today in the offices
of the consortium leader HypoVereinsbank in Frankfurt. The free
float will be around 42% including the Greenshoe. The initial price
is planned to be announced on September 29.
The listing on the stock exchange is designed to position the company
as an internationally leading provider for Internet infrastructure
software. Initially, HEXMAC aims to reinforce its presence in the
German-speaking region. In a second phase starting in 2001, the
core markets in Europe are to be penetrated. After this, the plan
is to open up branches in Asia and the Pacific, before moving into
the target market of North America.
With the finances raised by the public offering, HEXMAC plans to
acquire domestic and foreign companies and take up holdings in specific,
strategically interesting companies. In addition, HEXMAC will form
alliances and strategic partnerships. The company will also increase
its staff numbers in the field of sales and marketing with experienced
employees.
