This is an introduction of the LinkCheck feature of HexWeb Index

After you have exported your HTML pages from XPress with HexWeb, and created your tables of contents automatically, you can let HexWeb Index make a check if the hundreds of links inside your pages are pointing to a destination, that really exists.

HexWeb Index is checking all links inside your publication, all relational links, all image links, and reports you the errors in seconds!

It even finds out errors like missing quotes and case-sensitive failures in file names and links.
No other product on the market is capable of doing that.

If you are running your Web server on a Macintosh, the case-sensitivity does not matter. But as soon as you are moving your HTML files to a UNIX machine, everything becomes case-sensitive, and many of your links created on a Mac might not work any more.

This is why HexWeb Index goes so far with its accuracy.

In the picture above you can see the table of content with the link checking dialog open.
