Senior Database Engineer. (Hamburg)
This position is responsible for the conception and implementation of Web database solutions for our customers. Skills required include analysis, design, project estimation and maintenance of the solutions. Candidates can expect to work in a team environment with a maximum energy. Previous solution development, management or consulting experience a plus. Ideal candidates for this position will possess:
- Good experience with commercial relational databases, such as Oracle or others.
- At least 2 years experience of UNIX and NT server and network administration
- Networking, Internet, Kernel-level experience

Junior UNIX System & HexBase Administrators (3):
These positions are for trainees for solution development based on HexBase and Intranet CD technologies provided by HexMac. Candidates can expect to work as a trainee in a team environment. Previous solution development, management or consulting experience a plus.Ideal candidates for this position will possess:
- Experience in UNIX Systems such as Solaris and Linux
- Will to learn about Internet database solutions
- Basic Experience in HTML, Perl or other script languages
Software Development Engineer for Windows 95/ NT:
If you are familiar with the modern Windows development tools, such as Visual C++ and ActiveX, you are welcome to join the HexMac developer team to create exciting Web Applications for the publishing industry.Ideal candidates for this position will possess:
- 3+ years commercial software development experience in C or C++
- Proven track record of product development
- Networking, HTTP, TCP/IP and Internet experience
Software Development Engineer for JAVA Development:
For the newly grounded JAVA Development Dept. we are looking for dynamic and future-minded developer who has eyes open for tomorrow. Working within a dynamic team, you will be responsible for developing new generation JAVA applications, and be part of a team developing and implementing software on multiple platforms for the domestic and international publishing and multimedia industries.Ideal candidates for this position will possess:
- 3+ years commercial software development experience in C or C++
- Good knowledge of JAVA technology
- Networking, HTTP, TCP/IP and Internet experience
