brings Dynamic Fonts to the Web

HexWeb Typograph is the first utility in the World to enable HTML pages with true FONT fidelity.

HexMac ships HexWeb Typograph, the first Web authoring application supporting the innovative TrueDoc dynamic Font Technology which enables Web designers to maintain the original look and feel of their documents.

HexWeb Typograph is available as a stand-alone application or as an extension to the well-known and award-winning web authoring tool BBEdit, used by thousands of online publishing professionals around the globe. With HexWeb Typograph Web designers and typographers can now bring true viewing of fonts (including multilingual fonts) across various applications, platforms and operating systems to their customers.

The integration of the TrueDoc technology with the latest version of the Netscape Browser (Communicator) allows Web publishing professionals to create stylish HTML documents by using different fonts and fonts styles (e.g. according to the Corporate Design of their customers). Netscape client software users will be able to view these Web pages excactly as the content designers intended them to be seen, across a variety of font and character set encoding.

HexMac Software Systems will integrate the innovative Bitstream TrueDoc technology with its whole range of software products. With the TrueDoc technology integrated, HexWeb XT will allow QuarkXPress users in the near future to convert their documents to HTML and maintaining the original look and feel of their documents. But not only the authoring will profit from the advanced font fidelity of True Doc.

The database solution HexBase will allow publishers to create dynamic HTML and to deliver the original font appearance on the fly. The latest development of HexMac Software Systems, even allows to use the HexBase technology not only online, but also offline with a CD-ROM. The Intranet CD solution and the True Doc technology together will build the platform for a totally new kind of cross-platform catalogue and archive solutions.
