HexWeb Typograph 2.0 has the ability to handle alternative fonts when inserting the Font Face tag.

To define individual alternative fonts, push the "Alternative Fonts Button" in the Main palette:

The following dialog is opened:

Here you have the possibility to select fonts and to define alternate fonts for them. To define alternate fonts to the font of your choice, do as following:

1. Select the font from the popup on the right upper corner, you want define alternatives for. (In the screenshot AdLib BT)

2. Select the alternative fonts in the left list and move them to the right. (Helvetica, Arial). Next time you would insert AdLib BT from the Main palette, Typograph would write:

<FONT FACE="AdLib BT, Helvetica, Arial>

as the font tag. Typograph will later burn only the first font in the list, so that older browsers can be more compatible.

It is also possible to generate a default alternative font setting for all fonts, just select "Default" from the popup on the right upper corner and add the alternative fonts to be used generally for all fonts.

Should you want to add fonts as alternate fonts, but you do not have that font installed, you can type in the names manually by clicking the "Add..." button:

After naming the font, it will appear in the list.
